Also, Florida has a temporary <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leg.state.fl.us\/statutes\/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&amp;URL=0900-0999\/0901\/Sections\/0901.151.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow noreferrer\">detention period<\/a>, but it must happen on or around the area of the initial stop.<\/li>\n<li>Legal Representation &#8211; Additionally, you have the right to speak to an attorney. As a matter of fact, you should request an attorney before giving a statement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What to Do When Pulled Over<\/h2>\n<p>Second, an officer could pull you over for multiple reasons. Nonetheless, if a law enforcement officer pulls you over you need to cooperate.
