The Ultimate DIY Flight Challenge

Red Bull Flugtag is a hilarious, high-energy event that pushes the boundaries of human-powered flight (sort of!). Teams design and build wacky flying machines, then take a running leap off a 27-foot platform, hoping for the best (or at least, the most entertaining crash) into the water below. It’s a celebration of creativity, teamwork, and maybe a little madness.

Flying Legends Take Flight (Again!)

Here at RHINO Lawyers, we were thrilled to sponsor the Flying Legends of Wrestling team, a group with a proven track record of Flugtag glory. The Legends aren’t just any Flugtag participants; they’re two-time champions of the Tampa Red Bull Flugtag, having secured victory in both 2008 and 2011.

But their ambitions soared even higher. They weren’t just aiming for another local win; they had their sights set on reclaiming national Flugtag glory, a feat they achieved back in 2013 at the Miami competition.

A Spectacle for the Ages

The 2024 Red Bull Flugtag Tampa was an epic event. Over 150,000 spectators gathered around the Hillsborough River at the Tampa Convention Center, Harbor Island, and Bayshore Boulevard. Not only were there landlubber fans cheering them on, but thousands of boats and watercraft created a floating audience for the Flugtag festivities.

This massive crowd witnessed 28 teams launch themselves into the air (or lack thereof) in a display of human ingenuity (and sometimes, sheer lunacy).

While the Flying Legends of Wrestling didn’t claim victory this time around, they definitely put on a show! Their passion, creativity, and commitment to the spirit of Flugtag embodied everything we admire at RHINO Lawyers. We’re incredibly proud to have supported this legendary team and look forward to seeing what wild Flugtag creations they dream up next!
